Freshly returned from KBIS 2019 (February) in Las Vegas and we are here to show you the top 3 Kitchen Trends for 2019! Watch or read on to find out what was hot at the show and how you can incorporate these styles into your Kitchen Remodel.
Trend 1.: Black
Black was definitely one of the top color of KBIS 2019. I am talking black tiles, countertops, cabinets, faucets and so much more. Black can add serious interest and depth to your Kitchen Design and you will see it more and more throughout the year. You could also compromise and consider using other very dark colors like dark grays, dark purples and dark maroons, and greens.
Trend 2.: Matte Finishes
Matte finishes have been starting to come out more during these past few years, but we are now seeing them in other parts of the kitchen as well. For example Matte finishes for Hardware, Appliances and plumbing fixtures have become the new go-to’s for designers and setting your Kitchen Design apart from others this year. Also consider combining different textures like matte and polished finishes. For example, you could use the same tile and alternate the top finishes on your backsplash.
Trend 3.: Colorful Appliances
Colorful appliances are making a huge comeback and it’s time to add the to your Kitchen Design! Purchasing your appliances should always be one of the first task to accomplish during your kitchen remodel, as the entire design, concept and layout is built around them. Try to incorporate a fun colorful range for example, and then built your kitchen design around this vocal point.
